Jan. 31st, 2008 12:42 amIn contrast to a lot of people I know I am in fact glad to be back in university, no more do I have to worry about my crazy housemates climbing the walls and yelling at me for stuff I supposedly have/haven't done (Delete as applicable). After a small scare with a missing module (now sorted) having something to do has made my life much more peaceful.
Anyways the stuff I ordered from Hobby Link Japan arrived Tuesday, much quicker than I had anticipated so now I can admire Den-O Liner Form, Zeronus 'Rust Form' and Geki Blue without having to turn on my computer.
(Of course me being the collector I am they're still in their boxes)
Kamen Rider Kiva has certainly caught my attention and not just Kouji-san although I do find it hard to believe he is 19, he looks about twelve in some of his pictures. The split story idea is interesting and a change from Den-o's two parters. I just hope the need to tell both stories doesn't cut back on the the depth of the main one.
The first episode set a considerably different tone from Den-O, here the Wataru is much more aware and skilled in combat whereas Ryoutarou was frankly unlucky nervous guy with a sense of justice. I think Ryoutarou was developed brilliantly over the series and I hope his luck improves. As for Wataru I think there is scope for some brilliant development.
