I was out to lunch today with my mother, one of my younger cousins (11/12) (I'm 5/12) my Aunt and my Nan. It was a nice Chinese restaurant, I was quite pleased as their vegetarian range was better than when we were last there. Everything was going good then I went up with my cousin to pay (Nan gave us the money) as the lady, (a middle aged asian woman) asks us how old we are. I reply nineteen and my cousin replies nine.

Then the lady looks at me strangely and repeats 'Nineteen?'

I nod and say 'Yeah'

She goes 'really but you look fourteen'

I'm a bit shocked at this, then she adds 'You have baby face'

I decided to take it as a compliment smile and thank her for the compliment and the lovely food.

But seriously fourteen, I know I'm short(Just over 5'2") and there's not a lot of me (UK Size Six) but fourteen, I wasn't even wearing my specs which do make me look younger (I realized this when I nipped across the road from my uni place and the shopkeeper asked how old I was, he thought I was fifteen) but honestly I didn't think I looked that young. My outfit wasn't particularly standout, university rock chick kinda look, jeans, three quarter sleeves t-shirt and an unbuttoned short sleeved navy shirt from Cult covered with biker inspired symbols. The only make up I was wearing was foundation but it wasn't even like it was that much, just enough to cover a couple of blemishes.

That could explain the baby face comment actually but still.

I spose I should thank the gods, if I keep taking care of my skin and keep using good foundation then like my Mum says I won't regret it (And she knows what shes talking about, she got mistaken as a good ten years younger than she is)

But fourteen?! I don't even get ID'ed when buying alcohol.
